My name is Kristen Perkins Glover (she/her) and it’s a joy to be the pastor at First UMC Gordon and Cedar Springs UMC. Here is a little bit about me and my journey so far. I was born and raised at Wesley United Methodist Church in Greenville, TX. After high school I got my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a Minor in Religion at McMurry University in Abilene, TX. I served UM churches as a youth minister for the next 13 years in Northwest Texas, New Mexico, and North Texas Annual Conferences. I graduated from Brite Divinity School in Fort Worth, TX with my Master of Divinity and during that time served as a pastor in the North Texas Annual Conference for 2 years. I am married to my loving spouse, Rube Glover III. We married in 2015 and are the proud parents of Adeline. I am a novice gardener, baker, and poetry maker.
